mateypeeps ..quote...".If anyone agrees it would be useful for frugal living, or if there is a thread that I have missed, at 2:30 am in the morning, then let me know please, and I will let you know where to get a Spotfy invite."

We don't do that on this forum,' only offer something for something in return'.....try harder at being nicer and more helpful to others for no reward,it might help you a lot.And no, even if I knew what it was, I don't want a Spotfy invite !!!

Anyone that wants a spotify invite just has to ask.

It is not a condition of telling me where the information is, if it exists already in this forum.

I can understand why you missed the point of what I was saying as on a Zen Image level, the implied predicate logic associated consequences of what I said and how I said it are very complex and not worth my while expanding here.

One point however is this.

If I ask for info and someone gives it to me for free, would it not be nice to reciprocate with help in the only way I can, in this case, I seem to be one of the few people to be able to track down a free spotify invite website, so I offer that.

I offer that anyway even if I get no useful response.

Or would you rather I just took from the forum and did nothing to help?

Thanks for the advice for free, it is something I am aware of, the Apserger in me prevents me from communicating the altruistic nature of many of my actions, illogical as they seem to others.

One measure used by trick cyclists when assessing us is this very constant "being misunderstood by people al lthe time".

I can tell you, it gets very depressing and last thing we or I in particular need while recovering from a suicide attempt, divorce, waiting forever for redundancy and ill physical and mental health, is to be falsely accused of something by a someone that comes over as smug.

Still, what do I know about people, I misunderstand them as much as they misunderstand me.

P.S.

In one of the unsuppressed flashes of bile which has got me into trouble with many managers that I criticised over poor decisions, usually unjust ones affecting my colleagues, is this.

Your pseudonym is mispelt, the "o" should be an "i".

Honestly, I haven't the clues what you are on about :o. I think you got the wrong thread on here. Here we are like 1 happy big "visual" families be it lurkers or non lurkers (yes, we do have our differences but we kiss & make up visually!) - we look after our family to our best abilities. If and went I can't afford the lifestyle that I am having now (60% paid by coupons :D) - then I will look for the alternative like getting the government to give me benefits that I deserves since I have been paying my tax from the day I started working.;) until then I am happy to keep buying "Free Range Chicken":p

I will be living on my pension soon, built up from working full time for over 35 years, so accumulating the maximum National Insurance stamps.

I guess you have a long way to go yet to contribute that much.

This forum is not such a happy family as you make out. Judging by the comments, not just yours.

I will look elsewhere using Google and Jeeves for more useful advice.

Thanks Smodge, I will try a complaint as it is very frustrating (and embarrasing) to have different 'policies' quoted by different members of staff at the same store. Last week, when the checkout supervisor asked a manager if they accepted the Co-op conditional spend they said yes and entered it as a non-scan, This week, different manager, different answer!!

Can I ask which email address you used, as I can't seem to access the link provided on the first page.

Regards

Hi,
I actually emailed both the terry.leahy & customer.service email addresses( sorry won't let me post email address as I can't post links as a newbie) but they are both @tesco.com

The email I posted yday was from the terry.leahy address. I recieved a reply from the other today.

Dear *** ***.

Thank you for your email.

Firstly, I’d like to apologise for the delay in getting back to you. Please let me assure you that we always try to respond to our customers ' queries in a timely manner and I’m sorry that due to high volumes of contact, this has not happened on this occasion.

I'm sorry to hear that you have had problems using a money off coupon for £5.00 at our *** *** store, I can understand you being frustrated, especially as you used the same type of voucher

We continually review our own business strategy and how we perform within the competitive retail sector. By accepting another retailer's coupons, we need to understand how much of a benefit this is to our customers, in comparison to the value it gives to our own business.

Although all our stores are advised by Tesco Head Office to accept these coupons it is left to Management Discretion within the store to choose if they will accept them or not and to Inform his staff of what is acceptable.

For your information, Our stores are advised to accept conditional spend coupons from the following competitors:

ASDA
Morrisons
Sainsburys
Co-op
Marks & Spencer
Waitrose
Boots
Aldi

However, I would also like to confirm that we will respond to specific marketing activity which is carried out by other retailers, by only accepting selected conditional spend coupons and for a limited period of time. Please be assured that this will be clearly communicated on an individual promotional basis to our participating stores.

I have spoke to our Store Manager who will get this addressed with the relevant members of staff to make sure that this does not happen again. He has also offered his deepest apologies.

If you would be so kind as to forward me your address details, I would like to send you a £5.00 Tesco Moneycard with my best wishes, I know this won't make up for the inconvenience caused, but I do hope it will restore a little faith in Tesco.

I do hope that, despite the problems you've faced, you'll continue to shop with us, giving us the chance to provide the excellent service you've come to expect and so rightly deserve to receive .

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk quoting ***.

Kind Regards

Deborah Devine
Customer Service Manager
Tesco Customer Service

As you can see u get a different response from office to office. So I would email the terry.leahy address.
Hope all goes well!:)
