Gill - Sorry to hear about your problems with Asda.

My mother slipped on a wet floor in Morrisons supermarket, in similar circumstances. Someone hadn't put up a wet floor sign. She used a no win no fee solicitor and got over £1000 for her injuries.

Might be worth contacting a solicitor, as they have admitted they've been negligent.

It's the last one on the drop-down list and there is one for Fairy Non-bio Timmy Time just above it.;)

had a reply from asda yesterday at 09.42, :)

    Good Morning Gillian,

Thank you very much for your email about the accident you had at our St Austell store in Cornwall.

I'm sorry to hear you fell on a wet floor. How are you feeling now? I should imagine your injuries have been quite painful. I understand you are going through a traumatic time at the moment and slipping in store won't have helped.

I have asked our General Store Manager to give you a call to discuss your accident and to make sure it was logged accordingly. When accidents occur in store we have strict procedures to follow. I'm disappointed to hear my colleagues were not helpful nor did they show any concern, we want our all colleagues to be warm and friendly and always happy to help.

My colleagues should have cleared the wet floor and placed wet floor signs to warn other customers of the hazard that was there. I will be asking store to look in to this too.

I can certainly see why you are disappointed with the way your accident was dealt with. Please be assured store will be contacting you. I have asked them to do this straight away in my email to them.

Once again, I am very sorry for your fall. I hope you are feeling much better. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards

 as yet l have had no phone call or any other contact.

Well it's about time they acknowledged your accident! Whoever wrote the email to you should have proof read it first before sending it as there is a word missing here and there which isn't very professional but then I'm picky that way, at least you had an acknowledgment from their home office now let's see how long it takes the store to phone you.;) Should we start a pool to see who can guess the right day and time?! Hope you're feeling better from your fall and all went well at your brother's service.

Yesterday morning I phoned Tesco re the Morrisons coupons and the Customer service assistant phoned the cash office and was told they are accepting these coupons. Luckily I remembered to ask for her name and ID number

Today when I came to use it the SA said "we don't take these", he called a supervisor who said "we don't take these". By now I was getting annoyed, it was hot and the queue was long so told them that they did and gave them the name and ID number of the person who checked for me. Supervisor goes to the CS desk and comes back and confirms they are accepting these coupons.

I wondered how many people have given in and been turned away by this mis-information.
