Funnily enough, I made mac cheese for OH to take to work as I was having rubbish few days, and I found easy way to do it that he seemed to like. Literally used a wee bit of the cooking water from the macaroni, a spoonful or so of cheese sauce granules and a bit of milk. Splash of cream and a bit of cheese grated in. Gave it a stir and done!OrkneyStar wrote: »Rosie,
I normally love to cook and cook well but sometimes have those annoying days (or few days) where cannot be bothered making effort as nothing seems to work! DH requesting mac cheese for tea tonight and been putting off having that as I know my last two attempts at cheese sauce were ad hoc and not that nice!....used a nice mature cheese with a strong taste so didn't need too much!
