    Don't worry, toontron. Even if you could afford to buy the Harvey Nicks leather trousers in the sale, they most likely wouldn't arrive anyway, judging from my experiences with their site! (Not that I could afford £900 for a pair of trousers, mind you! :eek: )

    Reminds me.... was on the Outnet.com site earlier and saw a dress that was originally £18,000!!!!! Craziness!

    I've just had some great news regarding Harvey Nichols and the problems with their online ordering system. After I made a complaint (I had experienced disappointment with both orders I have made in the last 2 years - the latter one was a very special birthday gift), they have looked into this and are implementing changes. Once this is done, with any luck, there should be much less chance of disappointed online customers. I'm extremely impressed by the detail into which they went for their investigation of my the problems I experienced.

    Not only that, they have offered for me to buy another of the same item at sale price when it arrives and are sending me a little birthday gift.

    I have to say that, despite the difficulties with the online ordering system, the level of customer service I have otherwise experienced is outstanding.

    Hurray for Harvey Nichols! :j

    Both say exported. What on earth does this mean?

    Does this mean I'm not getting the ones that don't come up?

    If so, what an absolutely pants system.

    I would say that it's highly unlikely that your order from 24th will be coming - the same "exporting" thing happened to me. The one from yesterday could still be in the pipeline, so don't lose hope just yet on everything.

    It really is a dreadful online ordering system. I do hope that they stick to their promise of sorting it out for future use.

    Anyway, good luck with your orders. I hope you end up with at least part of it!

    I spoke to customer services this morning and according to them, I'm going to get all the items from my three orders. Order being put together from pretty much all HN stores as items are scattered all over the country. :D

    Placed another order today as I noticed some new items were added. Glad that I did, as most sale items have been removed of this evening from their site. One Armani jacket was £40 (originally £150) and is on sale at £100 at House of Fraser.

    Best bit is I'm having the orders delivered to the London store, so I get to try on everything and get an immediate refund for anything that doesn't fit or I don't like. Everything I ordered was very heavily discounted, so I can't lose really.

  • I have received already one order from the sale and a couple of items weren't available. THose that came though were all wrapped in Harvey Nics paper which is nice. I have placed a second order after things were reduced again so i will see what turns up - according to the system I got the last Paul Smith tie in the style i was after - not holding out much hope of this arriving. Mind i think the delivery charge is steep considering it is 5-7 days delivery .......... but then I guess it is Harvey Nic!


    I complained to Harvey Nics about their out of stock items and delivery charges and they have sent me an email today refunding both my delivery charges.:j
