Be aware that the online ordering system is ridiculously bad. If you order something online, it isn't immediately assigned to you. The order can take quite some time to process - in fact, during the sale period, it can sometimes take a few days. During this order processing period, if someone goes to their physical store and buys the item you ordered - even days after you ordered it, then you won't get your item. They will take preference over you. You'll wait and wait for your order status to change, then you'll eventually receive an email to tell you that it's unavailable and that they are unable to fulfill your order.

If your order total is more than £100, they include a free gift box. The trouble is that if you ring up in effort to find out what the heck is happening to your order, the system is so bad that the staff can't find out what you have ordered as the number of items is shown but not what they actually are. So you may be told that your item has been assigned to you - but it turns out to be only the gift box. Then you get your email to say that your order cannot be fulfilled.

I understand that it does work sometimes during the sale and some people do get their items, but be prepared for disappointment.

i agree with the above statement and it has happened to me before now however this time i did get the bag i ordered.

I have received already one order from the sale and a couple of items weren't available. THose that came though were all wrapped in Harvey Nics paper which is nice. I have placed a second order after things were reduced again so i will see what turns up - according to the system I got the last Paul Smith tie in the style i was after - not holding out much hope of this arriving. Mind i think the delivery charge is steep considering it is 5-7 days delivery .......... but then I guess it is Harvey Nic!

Ohhh, I so wish I could afford some of this! Correction - I wish I was in the position where a £600 odd reduction on a pair of leather trousers taking them to £900 odd was a deal...............***shuffles off to the Tesco Clothing website***.
