No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

    Morning All

Lovely sunny day again today, so already first load of washing out line drying and just stripped the beds so the bedding will be out soon and dry in no time.
    • Have managed to find 3 more 'old' mobiles to recycle whilst looking for cheque book today (it will go some way to cover the cost of the cheque I was needing to write for DD first passport - £49?!?) one is worth a tenner so good news there...
    • HM bread
    • Lunch & dinner from stores/meal plan
    • DD solids from HM freezer portions
    • DD in re-usable nappies
    • Maybe go to Wilkes later to price up breakfast bar, this will replace our dining table that we don't use (just collects 'stuff' on it!) - not very DFW but, it is in our 'year plan' so costed for. :T
    • Checked banks as got paid today - not great as on SMP but, still have £30 of last months grocery budget left, so that will go on CC - means we only spent £220 in the last 4 weeks, when I started this journey it was about double that - what did we used to do with all that food ?!
    • If I get time later I will try and sort out bedroom as I have won a set of drawers on ebay to match the rest of our furniture that they don't make anymore in Ikea, hoping DH may go and collect them tonight.
    • Watch football - if I can bear it!

Have a great day everyone x

Shifted what little debt I do have (Thanks to becoming debt free previously but now being in control of what I do spend on credit :T :D) to a 0% for 6 months deal as I'm currently saving up to get a new car so this'll definitely help towards that. :D
    Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

  • Morning all

I've been lurking for a few days as have been busy with work. Working from home today, so sneaking a little list in :).

I had a look at the link for Lulworth Cove, it looks lovely. Think I'll try to get it onto a 'day out' list for the summer - thanks Milly & Lurleene.

I'm just putting up a little list (for now) so that I'm not distracted from the work I need to do! So here it is:
    • Check bank & update spreadsheet – done, it’s going to be sooo tight up til payday
    • Should be a NSD
    • All food from stores
    • HC & line dry
Will pop in through the day to see what everyone's up to.

    Hello all!
I am officially half way through the supply teaching stint at the "charm academy" - amazed I've made it this far!

    Today's list ....
    • Brought lunch in to work
    • All food from stores
    • Walk dog for free exercise

    • Hoover downstairs
    • Put petrol in (light came on this morning)
    • Check banks
    • Move money from savings to current account
    • Try and sort a new budget
    • Bought new house insurance via quidco and got £42 cashback

Wow! Congrats! Is that the one with all the VIP treatment and front row seats???! Even if it's not I'm sure it'll be fab! Have a great night out on Sat!

I've technically managed an NSD, even though it doesn't feel like it - had to buy stamps for the voluntary job I do. I get them refunded but still... Postage just seems to be getting more and more expensive.

Also...made a school girl error with my wedding invites...they've got a little buckle on them, which makes them a 'large letter'. Boo. 51p a piece 2nd class. They are so pretty and even with expensive buckles and expensive postage they work out at £1.30 each + 51p postage (so much cheaper than ready-made ones) so I shouldn't be complaining I guess. I'll make sure they get flat postcards as thank you cards! :)

Hope everyone is having a nice day!

Determined new ms - what's causing all these sleepless nights?! I hope you have a better sleep tonight. I've got myself a fetching eye mask to keep out the light mornings! Works a treat for me!

    xx
