Thank you OP just ordered. That will go nicely in the bench with planters that my son bought me for my birthday. Just need a cheap Bay tree for the other side now! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

For anyone, like me, who missed this offer first time round (I was on holiday!), it is still available to order at £4.42 post free. Bargain. I have just ordered one, it will sit nicely on my patio."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Keep your bay tree in a pot.....Bay trees are the bain of my life! They grow out of control so easily and sprout up everywhere...ooohh awful things!0 -
When buying these, bear in mind they are 9cm (around 4 inches) tall.
Anyone wanting an instant effect may want to consider this pair of olive trees @ Ideal World, which are 150cm tall (5 feet approx) for £9.99 + £6.99 P&P.

Does anyone know how these arrive? Are they in little pots? I'd like to get one as part of a present for my Mum but I don't have a garden or anything so couldn't really re-pot it and her birthday isn't for over a month! Also, how quick do they grow? Would it get to a decent size in a month... rather than just 9cm?! Or are they really slow growers?! Thanks for any advice!!0

Hi
Mine arrived in just a plastic pot so did need re potting.
Have had mine a month approx and has grown a little but wouldn't have thought you would get a large growth spurt in a month0 -

Thanks! I may get it anyway and try and get it repotted as she loves gardening and is building a new house so this would make a great addition!0 -
Olive trees are quite slow growing. We have 2, one which we brought back from South West France and it hasn't grown massively in 3 years. The man we bought it from was very dismissive of the idea that it would survive in England, let alone bear fruit and yet it has another massive crop of olives this year! It's so nice to be able to offer olives around Christmas time which we have grown and brined ourselves. Friends of ours have a very small tree (probably about 2' tall) but it is producing olives this year, too.
Enjoy your trees!A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0
