I have become redounded recently & OH is working part time for about £5,000 p/a we have a two year old daughter.
In the “Entitledto” say that “You must have no more than £16,000 in savings”
However I have some investments in a stocks & shares ISA which the value is somewhat more than £16,000 so we are not sure if we are entitled to apply for HB.
Any ideas if the £16,000 limit include stock & shares ISA’s?

The ISAs are not counted for tax credits calculations because they are tax free but they are for all other benefits.0 -

I have also cash savings to keep me going for few months & there are some job opportunities in the pipeline.
At the end everything, I am sure, will pan out good if not better than before.
Honestly I needed this shock to wake me up, and have a look around me as I had got grown too comfortable on my old job to search for a better one.
Thanks for your replies.Si Deus pro nobis quis contra nos?0
