    ok, sorry, when you said modem, I assumed dial-up.. (forgot about yesterdays posts)

    PS A router is more secure..

    Are you sure you have no malware, and have windows patched?

    Do you have an upto data anti virus scanner, an anti spyware scanner, rootkit scanner, is your firewall turned on, and have you got automatic updates setup in control panel, security center?

    OK, let me update here

    Since we deleted all the rubbish on here , using other sites has gone muhc more smoothly. All other sites Ive been using now seem to be fine. However, here is terrible.

    pages take ages to load, page cant be displayed etc

    OH reckons that as all other pages are fine, it must be a problem with MSE?
    Or our browsers connection with MSE? Any thoughts???

    I think the modems fine as we are getting on other pages OK now after the clean out
