Depends on the size and speed of your card. I used it once to identify a fake SD card from Ebay. IIRC it took about 20 min. to read and write a 1GB file.

What do you want to do? If you just want to test the speed, then you might not need to test the whole card.

Not fussed about the speed.

Will set it up again & see if I can switch the speed reader off.

Last night it was saying nearly 2 hours!!! :eek:
