How long to set up ebay business account & seller limitations?

i'd appreciate some help with a question i have about ebay.
i've read quite a few threads about setting up a business account on ebay. if i register for a business account will i be up and running straightaway or is there a time period in which i have to wait for verification? also can i start selling BIN items straightaway?

You can sell straight away, both auction and buy it now, and you can open a shop immediately as well.
There'll be a 21 day hold by Paypal on your payments for a while though.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Even with a business I would buy a few bits and pieces before you invest a lot in trading stock. A little bit of feedback and a good working knowledge of ebay will help your business.
