Pattinsons Free Auctions - Anyone used them?

I have had my house up for sale since September, with quite a few viewings and no offers, we have dropped the price by 10k and changed estate agents.

Not sure what else to do other than change estate agents again or go on Pattinsons free auctions, we have found a house we want to buy and are ready to go pretty much.

On our house we have changed the front garden and inside the house to make it look better. Still no offers.

If anyone has used the auctions it would be great to find out their feedback.

I know the only problem with the free auctions is that they set the reserve price.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

    Q. Can I control what my property sells for?
    A. Yes, you have complete control of the reserve price.

From the info on the site there doesn't seem to be any downside for the seller. Just make sure you know about conditional/unconditional sales etc.

I had them out to value my house and they give an auction starting value of 25% below normal property valuation (<100k).

I guess until you talk to them or someone posts to say they have used them it's hard to tell how good they are.

However, it is a very popular auction site and pattinsons are a huge ea.
