I did the same. For a permissable development you dont need the plans reviewed, its probably better but you get them down to site once its started.0

the value of the architect is not just in doing the donkey work for the permissions, yes an architect can do these to ensure that they meet the regualtions, but they can also add value to a project, if everything was designed purely to meet building regulations we'd all live in wimpey homesThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Yes and no. Designing your own extension doesn't mean just designing to meet building regulations. Plenty of people have the vision to create a good-looking extension without architectural qualifications - and plenty of architects are capable of creating run of the mill ugliness!0 -
