treadmill advice

i need some help with a decision on whether to buy a new treadmill or not.ours has just stopped working after just over two years of use and guess what its a 2 year warranty :mad: .ive opened up and diagnosed it myself with some fault finding leds on the circuit board and it looks to be the control circuit board itself that needs replacing at £97 from proform.Now what do you think i should do buy a new one(last one cost £900) or try this repair? im caught in 2 minds really anyone got any advice?

    I personally would go for the repair but get a pro if your unsure as to how to do it. If the machine cost £900 then the alternative of dumping it is rather expensive. Also, could you not claim on your household insurance if perhaps you've bumped it which led to the fault?
  • thanks for the advice but to get a pro in will cost me over £200.Claiming on the household insurance is an idea;)
