Parking at Torquay Travelodge

Anyone with local knowledge know where I can park for free close to the the Travelodge in Torquay?, its £7.50 to park at the TL.

Avenue Road or one of the side roads off, to be honest not alot of free parking in Torquay or Torbay in general. Have you thought of a weekly ticket (if you are staying for a week) it costs about£25 I think and covers you for all council car parks round the bay.

Hi i live nearish to the TL in question, nearish to drive past it quite a bit!..as the other poster said ther are a few side roads nearby you could try and hope for the best. Good luck x

Just googled Avenue Road, its a main road, can you park on there?, also are the roads around the TL parking permit or just normal parking?

There is part of Avenue Road where you can park, next to the school. Also sideroads opposite are quite good, can't remember any names but two or three roads opposite the school. I think most of the roads round the TL are no parking or limited time. Sorry I have been away and dont have time to look before you come. Hope your stay is good, it was lovely in Torquay when I drove through today.

Just left there, parking is actually £3 at the TL, but parking is free on Ave Road and to the rear of the TL. so don't pay !, I have to say that the Torquay TL is amongsty the worst I have stayed in, the staff weren't that friendly and the food was dire !!!

£3 for parking isnt too bad, wasnt there places nearby to eat

you can park on the road outside the travelodge, so theres no need to pay to park, the car park is tiny, so you are lucky to find a space anyway

as for food, there is nowhere to eat within a 5min walk, you have to head into the town centre for restaurants, which is a brisk 15min walk
