Help! The end of feb bought a car from a dealer for 1,100 with 3 month warranty. It never worked right and in March I left it back since the power kept cutting (limp home mode).
If have heard excuse after excuse, been even down there after it was supposedly fixed 2 weeks ago, it broke down 20 miles later on way home.
He doesn't answer phone and once told me he had been away for a couple of weeks for non-payment of fines:eek:
Anyway texted him today that I wanted a refund since the car was not fit for purpose.
He said no refund and he was now going to fit a turbo, to call next week. All this time i have had it taxed and insured, I could cry (actually have done)
This seems to going on and on. Please tell me what I can do.:o

Your rights are rather limited when dealing with 2nd hand items however, if they are faulty/damaged, you do still have some rights.
The most important question is, were you made aware of any of the faults when buying it?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
