can anybody answer a query please...I was working for Inland Revenue 10 years ago for a period of 4 years....i have worked elsewhere since but now due to an illness i can no longer work and am disabled, i claim income based ESA but have just received a letter saying that on the grounds of ill health they will be paying me my civil service pension, does this affect my ESA or for that matter my Housin benefit which i now get having been oved into a disabled modified flat. I was not aware of this pension rule and its now left me confused.

Yes, you pension income will affect both ESA(IB) and HB. Tell JCP and your council when the payments start.0
