Tax free car allowances

I have been offered a job where I receive £750 per tax free as a car allowance - this appears on my monthly payslip as tax free income. I use my own private car and the £750 per month is based on an AMAP claim I will submit that covers 30,000 business miles reimbursed at 40p for first 10,000 miles and 25p for the remaining 20,000 miles. My employer however will still pay for all my business mileage by way of a company fuel card given to me. I will not have any BIK in relation to car or fuel.
Is the tax free car allowance valid??
Thanks
