Making use of my time off work sick and looking into switching our gas and electric. To my shame I've never looked at this before although we do pay by fixed monthly DD and give actual readings so up to date with that sort of thing.
Currently with Scottish Hydro Electric on standard tarriffs for both
and seems will defo save by switching. On uswitch Npower Sign Online Dual Fuel V18 should save us £185 a year which is good. Had a quick look at energyonline (I think) and it was similar.
Should I just go for it and switch or are there any pitfalls I should be looking out for?
Thanks so much I'm just feeling a bit lost.

First of all, once you decide which is best, register with quidco and see what cash back you can get by swopping.
Nope, no pitfalls really - Ive changed about 5 times now. Just make sure you enter the right details for the comparison and read the t and cs.
Just checked quidco for cash back from npower:
£20for a single fuel switch (new customers only)
£40for a dual fuel switch (new customers only)
£80for dual fuel switch to npower Football Saver tariff (new customers only)0 -
Thanks Hethmar. Not sure if I'm a member of Quidco...not great at the old cashback stuff but if I can get £40 back that would be great. Will look at Football Saver and see what it's about as well.
Thanks again Jo xWhat's fur ye won't go by ye!0 -
