can tortoises be chipped?
once, my husband forgot to close the gates from our garden and our lovely tortoise escaped! luckily, other people found her and took her to the vet (where i found her)0 -
All of my dogs and cats have always been chipped and never ever have any of them got cancer at the site of the chip so PLEASE PLEASE chip your animals!
hmc - my dogs are also tattoed but for belt and braces I had them chipped too. Whilst a vet woudl look for a tattoo, if they were picked up by the warden or police then they automatically check for a chip first.
Thanks though OP, I have a litter of kittens that needs to be done
