Will tiling help insulation?

We are buying a stone built victorian house and intend to turn one of the bedrooms into a bathroom.
It has one outside wall, and as insulation is non-existent, if we tile this wall will it make any significant difference?
All advice gratefully received.

We've just had our bathroom done - three outside walls! The walls were dry-lined and then tiled. It's lovely and warm now with a radiator half the size we had before.0

any extra wall thickness will help.
but to get real insulation benefit you need an air gap. hence cavity walls, and glassfibre insulation etc...Get some gorm.0 -
A blanket of still air is required to get heat insulation. A layer of tiles is not going to make any difference.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
