im new to ubuntu,im just getting used to it,
some times when im on a page(say ebay cars) when i click to open up an advert the pc goes back to the start page, then when i open up firefox again i get this message.....Well, this is embarrassing.
Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page. Removing one or more tabs that you think may be causing the problem. Starting an entirely new browsing session.
any ideas on how to fix this?
thanks.

i know this is not exactly a fix however have you tried a different browser? maybe chrome?
also since you have stated you are a new ubuntu user have you thought about a quick reinstall incase there was a slight error when installing.
to be honest i have never come accross this problem so not entirely sure what to suggest,
also have you posted your problem on the ubuntu forums incase someone else has come across this issue before?Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

follow this link how to get chrome while using linux
I'm having similar problems with Firefox, though thankfully far less frequently than the OP.
A much quicker way to get Chrome is to install the Chromium web browser, as you can select it straight out of the Ubuntu Software Centre repository. Chromium is what Chrome is based on (or the other way round!).0 -
i went onto ubuntu help forum..advised to uninstall+reinstall firefox.
touch wood,it seems to be working so far.0
