Rover 25 - warning light question
Options
My BF's daughter has just bought a Rover 25 1.4l Y reg, just over 100,000 miles on the clock.
We're confident the car is basically sound & it has been running fine for the last couple of weeks. The 'engine management warning light' has just appeared and is staying on, with no obvious fault in the car.
Doe's she keep driving until an obvious fault appears?
Any thoughts on what needs to be done here?
Many thanks.

These things can be elusive but at this stage I would take it in for a diagnosis (probably around £40).
I might add that on our car we get one too and chased it for a while but we never got to the bottom of it. It normally comes on if the car isn't given a good run.
In your case try and get a diagnosis and hopefully a cheap fix, if that is not possible then keep an eye on things like oil and water and fuel consumption.0 -

You really shouldn't just leave it... Cars don't fix themselves they only get more expensive the longer you leave them broken.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
