Two year extended protection

Hi M8s
My fridge/freezer has stopped working today and before I call the engineer I would like an advice.
I bought a fridge/freezer on 29/05/2008 and bought two year extended protection for £69.00 repair protection plan. I want to know that have I got three years guarantee when manufactures insurance included with 2 years repair protection or can some one give me any advice how they would work out as on 21/06/2010. I will appreciate any advice and help thanks.

I imagine the 'two year extended protection' started at the end of the manufacturer's one year warranty.

Surely your documentation tells you, doesn't it?

Just ring Domestic and General and ask.

I would think it would mean in addition to the warranty, as why would you want to pay for cover you would already receive for free?

However as advised, the only way to be sure is check your documentation and if that doesnt shed any light, call and ask.

Unfortunately, some of these policies do work like that!

So, as everyone's pointed out so far you need to check the wording of your policy documents.

Yeah i know but i like to think the best of people :) Although i'm always wary of someone trying to get one over on me.

As the saying goes, if it seems to good to be true, it usually is.
