If you do email them pics. I bet they'll ask to buy it and pay over the odds to have it shipped to their Uncle the Missionary in Nigeria.0

yep they are scammers, they try to con you...a worse one is Gumtree, if you place wanted ads they con you by saying they have the item you want and try and get your money. I put a wanted AD for a flat to rent, i was sent 3 emails along the lines of badly broken english saying i have a house, you can have for 400 a month (yeah i wish, a 4 bedroom detached for 400 a month!) and really poor quality photos (prob not even the same house!) and all came from yahoo email addresses:happyhear0

I bought a top on eBay last week, it arrived today and have decided I don't like it. Fair enough on the seller it's not her fault as the photo was accurate enough and all, I just don't like it. So I decided to resell it. I got her permission to copy the photo from her listing as my camera is playing up, but then I couldn't copy it. You used to be able to but now you can't, I don't know when that changed. So I couldn't list the item, I will have to get my own photo tomorrow.
I wonder if the photos of your iPhone are really good ones in that they look very real and first hand. If so then they'd be good for someone to create thier own scam not-real iPhone with wouldn't they... Just a thought.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

I don't know if it has changed Hannah, as I sold an item just last week, it was a brand new top with tags that I had never got round to returning to the shop, a couple of days ago I noticed that the person who won my auction was reselling it on ebAY using my photo of the top (hanging in my living room) and they never asked permission to do that. Personally I wouldn't have a clue how to copy someone else's pic but if you know how to it seems like you still can.I bought a top on eBay last week, it arrived today and have decided I don't like it. The 'right click, save as' still works
No, I don't use it for listing eBay purchases ..........0 -
You can use printscreen to copy it and just edit out the background guff. Simples.sobrokeithurts wrote: »Personally I wouldn't have a clue how to copy someone else's pic but if you know how to it seems like you still can.0 -
