Need help constructing Ikea Table

Options
Hi,

Just on the offchance, because I won't be able to make up to Ikea for a couple of weeks. Does anyone have the build instructions to the Leksvik Dining table found here...http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80152725

Bought it form the discount section and having problems putting the legs on. A photo can also be found here if you can explain how this works...http://img.skitch.com/20100621-m5p16efx7tq3n9ecghc2hkj5gg.jpg

There is a screw, bolt, washer and odd bar which the screw goes into, but only to a certain point. This goes through the metal hole seen, into the table leg (top left of photo). The odd thing is that the screw doesn't actually screw into the leg.

Please help. It's driving me mad!!!

Thanks,
C

Have you tried ringing Ikea and saying the instructions were not in the table you bought, they are pretty good at sending missing parts etc

i think the bar goes into a hole inside the leg, then the threaded metal bolt goes thro the plate and thence into the bar.

is there a hole at the top of the legs?

    ps
make sure you leave the slot on the end of the bar, visible. ie insert the blank end first.
so you can turn the bar to suit.
    Get some gorm.

Here is the Ikea website with downloadable assembly instructions for all the items they sell. http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_US/customer_service/assembly_instructions.html
The dining table you have is on there.
    Good luck

you put the threaded rods in the legs first, before you bolt the legs to the table.

I was assembling one of their tv cabinets, but half the instructions were missing. Searching online I found an unofficial ikea forums site which led me to that page.
