Chester..

Hi everyone

Can anyone help me find a cheap room in Chester. We're off to look at wedding venues :A there in a couple of weeks but all the hotels I can find are quite expensive.

Doesn't have to be in the centre of Chester, but could do with some parking.

Thanks
Vanessa

I've stayed at Chester Central North premier inn a few times and usually managed to get room deals. It's handy to bus into the city and has free parking. Happy venue hunting...I'm getting married next year at Chester Zoo :)

I've used here before: http://www.chesterbackpackers.co.uk, it's basic, but clean and cheap.

I've just booked for the same reason in Chester. After some research (my brother lives there) I have booked Travelodge 'Chester Central'. 2 family rooms for 5 people - £123. No breakfast as they only offer a breakfast in a bag - cereal and croissant etc. We will get some brunch locally. Parking is in NCP car park nearby I think.

If you want two nights, try the Holiday Inn 2-4-1 offer (don't have the link to hand, look around for it). There's one at Chester south, with plenty of parking, which is opposit one of the Park & ride sites. We got a Friday & Saturday night in a twin room there last year with this offer for under £50 in total - it has a pool as well

Try googling "Holt Lodge Hotel" its half way between Wrexham and Chester and very reasonabvle.

Don't do the TL Breakfast Bag, it's dreadful! Even the dog wouldn't touch it :rotfl:

MacD's do a toasted bagle with jam and coffee for under 2 quid

My parents often stay at the Macdonald Blossoms hotel using their tesco vouchers (£10 in vouchers = £40 towards the room). Not sure if that might be an option?
