oil service

Hi, please don't mock me but i have a 307 diesel and it's not due a service for another 7000miles and was thinking of an oil service but do garages stamp the service book for just an oil change????

as a simple answer, no. Generally they are only stamped if a full/interim service has been done, dependent on the mileage or age.0

Good idea for the mid service oil change but there's no need to get it stamped. Keep the receipt if you want proof.0

On my Panda book there is places for stamps and in the places there is a tick box which says "oil change only"
. So I assume they must get a lot of oil change only requests. 0 -
Unless the last oil used was some cheap £1 a litre mineral rubbish, I wouldn't bother. Modern fully-synthetic oils can do well in excess of 15,000 miles.0

i change mine every 3k too look after the turbothere or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0
