Can anyone help me as to the best way to use/burn dvd-ram discs.
The software needed if any, especially to use it as a removable hard drive.
Ta in advance, dc

I think DVD-RAM is automatically seen (by Windows XP at least) as a removable hard drive.
You should be able to format and copy files to/from them via Windows Explorer.0 -
Dont forget that many dvd writers dont support dvd-ram.
I have a LG GSA 4163B which supports dvd ram read and write, but have only watched a film from a mates dvd ram recorder, so cant comment on anything else.0 -

I use them for incremental backups (of Emails, general Word documents, projects in progress etc.) They are slow but I use a program called Ice Mirror to only save the files that have actually changed from day to day.0
