  • Hiyas,
Yes, I'm one of the "new" posters.
Been a member for a good while and till today, have only posted where I could help someone.
Today, I posted a few times to help my son out, so I suppose, I only posted when I wanted something.

I'll post again though, when I can help someone or need something.

I'm extremely grateful to Sparky61 for helping me out today and to Janicerobson for her offer of tickets too.

Based on my experience today, I have to say that I'm so glad to be part of MSE and appreciate the help I've received today and from reading old threads.
There's a great deal of information in the forums and some sensible searching means I don't have to ask for anything very often.

    Thanks
    DP:beer:

You're not, though. We are talking about people who have signed up today just to ask for Bon Jovi tickets. You have been posting for a while, at least :)

I hadnt realised that there's a minimum number of posts before you can ask for something.

Hope you got them in time - link should have been right at the bottom of the email.

Just on the subject of new posters - I also gave away tickets earlier this week to newbies. I was not even sure whether to post them here as some previous posts were asking why people apply for things they cannot use. Quite simply it is a grabbit board and I grab them when I see them, then if I cannot arrange babysitting I pass them on here so they are not wasted. When I passed them on I did it to the first to reply as I have limited time on here.

One person who had tickets from me donated £10 to Charity and sent me the confirmation email to show he had. This was of his own free will - not at my request. I replied to him saying that was a first from my experiences of giving away things on MSE!

Then today when I checked my emails the second person who I sent tickets on Tuesday sent me some back for tonight - totally unprompted, just in case I could get a babysitter.

I think this thread has attracted some great new members. I lurked on here ages before posting and have never had much to offer but have made some huge savings and great competition wins from other posts - the more the merrier as far as I am concerned.

Would be nice if the new posters from this thread could thank the OP - cannot believe she only has 18 thanks for this!!!!! And if any of the newbies find a code for tomorrow I think we will all be very happy. This site is about sharing.

    Lisa

And have just had another PM saying there are some free tickets for Van Morrison and Blondie and SupaJam's very own The Paris Riots, who will be playing near to me from another newbie who I could not help! http://www.supajam.com/contest/hopFarm2010

    Friday 2nd July

Happy to share but not as impressive as Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ...when they want something :p

I love MSE, I too have been a lurker, I did ask for Bon Jovi tickets as my friend is a massive fan and would be a lovely surprise for her. Of course we want something... isn't that why we're all here?! ;) lol

Love this thread, not only because there is a chance to see Bon Jovi free, but because I hadn't heard of SFF before and have now registered :)

Thanks to the OP, not sure how to 'thank' them officially though lol :o

Click the 'Thanks' but on the first post.

I am new too, I had only registered with SFF a couple of days before the tickets came out and was fortunate to get some of the first batch. :j

I started on the DFW :( boards, moved on to the comping boards and done well so far there, few small wins, now discovered here too......love MSE!!!!
