Just been released iin US. Anyone had any luck in the UK? My iPhone still isn't working

Funny how the website says that the 2g touch will have the persistant wifi, but in the license/changelog thing in itunes says otherwise...
Oh well at least I get some stuff

just completed mine on my Ipod Touch took nearly 2 1/2 hours, now goingg to see if it was worthwhile0

Took me ages. About an hour.
Download 15 mins
Took about 15 mins to backup (thought it had done that anyway each time you sync it)
Then it said "The restore failed." What restore? Presume it meant OS 4 upgrade.
Then restored itself again. Said it had been interrupted (well not by me it hadn't), so I selected "Continue with restore."
Anyway, that took at least 20 minutes, and I think I was lucky as some have been stuck like that, locked out of iPhone/iPod.
I was expecting it to have restored itself to 3.0.3 but it had gone to 4. :T
Still, for a geek like me, it was all worth it. OS 4 is very cool. :j0 -
Well I cant get iOS 4 to download onto my iPod Touch 2g. Im getting the problem like most users are, where the backup takes forever and makes no progress! There is a major bug with the iOS4 as it has already been downloaded onto my computer, but just won't backup my ipod correctly. Its a bit silly how you can't stop the backup and carry on as normal. Anywho, still waiting for support Best Freebies/Wins/Testers so far: HP Officejet Pro 8500, Vax Zen, Thorpe Park Tks, 2x Rockwell Tkts, Windows 7, 2x Chelsea vs Arsenal Tkts, Genio Phone, JLS Tickets, 2 PSP games, 2 Xbox 360 games, iPod Touch, Blackberry Torch, Westlife Tkts, Tinie Tempah tkts, New York Trip AND MORE...Thanks to all posters on here:beer::T0

Finally fixed my phone and installe iOS 4. If only I didn't have to get up early in the morning for an exam0
