Hi
Starting to plan a trip for next August out to Indianapolis and wondering if anyone has any ideas of likely best flight route from any London airport?
Direct to Chicago and driving down certainly looks viable but any other tips please
Thanks

That's a 4 hour drive or so if memory serves...I wouldn't want to get off an international flight and into a rental car for that sort of a drive myself.
Why not fly indirect and ditch the driving idea?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Yes 3.5 / 4 hours staright down the interstate so an easy drive. there will be two of us so not a real worry over the drive
Cost wise just wondering if its generally cheaper to fly Chicago direct. We will need a car anyway even if we fly into indy
At teh moment looking at this year Chicago seems to be low £600's and flying to indy with 1 stop and reasonable stop offs ie no more than say 12 hour total travel time is in low to mid £700's
This may of course change if we look to book for next year assoon as flights become available
Any other opinions0
