My nephew says his lappy is overheating and blue screening about every 45 mins.
If he then leaves it off for about an hour it comes back and the cycle repeats.
Is this a known prob with this make/model?
Is it most likely to be an overheat problem and if so what can we do about it please?:o

It'll be full of fluff and dust. Give it a good hoovering on the underside (and maybe back/sides) around the air vents. Then tell him to stop using it directly on his knee or in bed directly on the duvet, and get something like this to sit it on. http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/11307787/Microsoft-Laptop-Cooling-Base-Black/Product.html
Generally speaking, the faster a laptop is, the more it'll heat up, and the more it'll need cooled. If cooling is obstructed by fluff, it'll overheat and just turn itself off. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
