    It's my understanding that you can't force them to supply what you ordered, unfortunately; the offer of a refund is sufficient.

    Thus, I'd try replacing the battery and see if it's that. Otherwise, just settle for the refund and consider it bad luck.

    I agree with adam. Faulty goods are required to be dealt with via repair, replacement or refund. Although many retailers opt for repair/replacement first, i believe its ultimately the retailers choice as long as it complies with the SOGA act.

    From what you said i presume you've already asked them about a refund. But you could maybe stress that you were estatic at receiving the deal in the first place and are disappointed you wont be able to take advantage of it. You might not get anything out of it but amazon might offer you some sort of goodwill gesture.

    I've never had a problem with any of my amazon orders so i genuinely cant comment on their aftersales!

    Could you not buy another one from Amazone and send the first one back as not wanted? and have a refund on it. It is still on offer at £44.13.
