Currently selling a phone on Ebay and just received an email from someone asking if I would be ok with them collecting the phone and paying via PayPal.
I agreed and s/he has just replied asking if I will take £370 to end the auction early. Now the phone is being sold on Ebay for about £320 so I've just replied stating that if they want to pay £370 I will post it for free via Special Delivery. I have checked their feedback and whilst they have less than 20, they have received positive feedback from sellers for high value electrical purchases?
Do they sound legit? I'm worried that if i accept £370, they may do a chargeback or something and I will end up losing out? _pale_

Phone them up or send an urgent message, you are likely to be conned.
have you never heard of the paypal on collection scam?
If they want to pay by paypal then you must send it via a tarcked postal method. If they want to colelct it then they need to bring you cash.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Their positive feedback means nothing as sellers can only leave positive anyway.
