Orange Livebox problems

Hi,

I've had my orange livebox for over 3 years now, no problem at all. My old laptop died a month ago and bought a new one with Windows 7, the wireless connection since than awful. The problem is that when you start the internet, the first page comes up as sky problems-your connection is not available. It happens appr. 6 times a day and we need to unplug and plug the livebox in again to make it work. It does my head in, don't know what to do, orange help desk is useless, they couldn't help us. Anyone knows why is this? When we try to diagnose the problem with internet explorer, it says that the problem is between the livebox and the provider.

Have you moved your Livebox since changing laptops? Or are there other strong networks nearby? If so, go into your Livebox 'webpage' and try changing the channel. Use number 7 or 8 as people don't often set theirs there - we did that on ours and it works perfectly.

Thanks. Yes, there are other strong networks around us but hasn't disturbed the connection previously. And no, we haven't changed the position of the livebox. I'll have a look at changing the channels, thanks.
