changing electric from southern elec to british gas - best tariff?

Hi

I have my gas with British Gas and want to change my electric from southern electric to british gas as I figure it must be cheaper to have both with one supplier. Anyway had a look on line and there are a few different tariff's. Does anyone know the best one. I pay by DD and submit my readings online.

Also the last time I changed supplier was when I moved house 10 years ago and it was incredibly painful to do, any tips on how to make the transition smoother?

Thanks

B

It is not necessary cheaper to have both fuels with the same supplier.

Why not look at a comparison site to see what is available and recommended for your consumption? See uswitch.com or energyhelpline.com etcetera.
