Hi Folks
I have just spent the morning going through old money saving tips trying to find a link for getting property values of houses being sold near you. I'm sure I remember this tip but can't find it. Perhaps I'm going mad. It was of use to those who were nosey about what their neighbours had sold there house for. I'm interested to get a valuation for a divorce. The value an estate agent gives is often nothing like the price the houses sell for. Can anybody help or am I clinically bonkers.
Thanks
Carl

There are lots of them.
https://www.nethouseprices.com is the one I use, but there may be "better" ones.0 -
There are many and they don't all have all the properties.
One I like is
https://www.hometrack.co.uk
It gives prices but also gives data regarding monthly market movements and sales/asking price ratios.0 -

The only way to know what your house would sell for is to sell it. Otherwise, both parties need to negotiate and agree a price. If a price cannot be agreed, sell it.
When I divorced my 1st wife, I kept the house. I was happier when I sold it and moved into a house with my new lady.
Good luck.
