Brought a Hoover Washer Dryer two years 3 months ago. It had a 5 year parts warranty and you just pay for the call out.
It is dead required a new drum, tub, Door seal, bearing and selector dial.
Also when it was a month old required a new circuit board because it was not secured in the factory.
So far it has been 3 weeks and two visits and second load of parts oldered, and they still dont know when they will get all the parts. I explained that I have two young children 1 being 6 weeks old and cant do without a machine and could I have a loan machine which they dont offer, just keep getting told I will get a call once they get the parts, I have also paid them £159 for the extended warranty after it broke because was told I would need to pay £110 weather they fixed it or not, wish I had of put another £100 to that and brought a new machine now.
What are my options?
My advise to anyone who is planning on buying a hoover or candy is don't because they are just not bothered when they go wrong.

I learnt that lesson about 30 years ago - luckily I bought it from John Lewis who gave me something else (outside of warranty !). Have NEVER bought anything with that name on it since !0 -
Yeah my TV is from JL with a full 5 year warranty, told them on the phone that I am 24, so they are loosing a customer young, no really sorry or anything, all they said was they understand and that someone would call me when the parts are in.Been reading for ages, personal debt down from over £13.5K:eek: to £4.2K
