Help uninstalling McAfee

My Dell computer came with a free trial of McAfee virus protection pre-installed. After the trial period ended I uninstalled it using the My Computer uninstall option. This seemed to work but it has not been fully removed and I now keep getting error messages telling me I need to reinstall it and that I am not properly protected. I have also been unable to install any new firewall protection as McAfee says there will be a conflict with it.
I have tried uninstalling McAfee again but simply get an error message come up saying that it is missing.
I have searched on the boards here and have read some previous advice on similar topics but nothing quite seems to address my problem. Can anyone offer me any advice - this is really annoying me now!!
Thanks Vic

Try this link - it's really easy to do but without it McAfee won't properly uninstall.

Also if you try to install another product, it may ask for your permission to uninstall Mcafee for you0

Before you uninstall Mcafee.
Please download your prefered antivirus and firewall to your desktop so that you do not go online unprotected.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0 -
