Tax credit renewal

Hi all
I have posted on Specialist Tax credit post but thought might be easier to start a new post!
I renewed by post 4 weeks ago, had a call from Specialist Tax Renewal team saying they dealing with and I would hear from them. Fair enough I had had a letter from them but wasn't sure if it was fake or not so renewed via sending form back. When I renewed I told them of a change in circumstances too (childcare).
Anyway 5 weeks on I have had no paperwork, no telephone calls from them, nothing. Last Thursday I had my normal TC payment in bank and on Friday I also had another deposit from them in the bank. They haven't written and asked me for any prove of childcare, income, etc which I was expecting after reading the other thread.
Does this mean that they might have finalised my claim without having to speak to me again? They didn't run through the renewal on the phone with me, just said we have your form and we will be in contact.
What happens next? Why would they have given me extra money?
