How much have/will you spend today Thu 31/8?

  • today hasn't quite worked out as I thought earlier (see this mornings post)

    Cost of stamp 32p

trip to tip around 1.00 in petrol but I also used the journey to drop off some stuff to the charity shop where I picked up a perfect birthday pressie for 50p (anyone else believe in Karma?)

decided not to order carpets yet but let them sweat. If they refuse to honour the offer - so what? Plenty of carpet shops!

    However I did go on to spend;

£1 on a pair of jeans (half price in CS sale)
£1.50 on material (perfect match for my needs - see earlier post)
£1.50 on book (possible later Amazon sale)
£1 on treats for my 2 dogs and the 1 i'm 'dogsitting'

but I gained £25 by arguing charges in Lloyds TSB. So I'm still well up on the day.

Hope others have a good day too.

I was supposed to attend a job interview today, but it has been postponed for 3 weeks while the interviewee is on paternity leave. Therefore no tube fare.

So today I dont have any cash outgoings, but have paid £250 onto my Halifax card and £350 onto my MBNA card by BACS.

Hopefully I will not spend anything else today!

    Hi all,

I had a no spender yesterday and today is a sort of no spend but I do have to buy a present for a friend's birthday but this is in my budget so I don't count it (I already consider it as money already spent).

  • It's pay day...equals debt repayment day. In accordance with the snowball calculator i've paid

    Visa 1 - £215.33
    Visa 2 - £84.64
    Student Loan - £64 (PAYE)
    Alliance & Leicester - £151.62
    Toyota - £208.41
    Own Overdraft - £20
    Parental Loan: £60
    Owed Parents - £100
Monthly 'board' payment to parents - £120

Lunch £3.00 okay, so that wasn't planned

£1027 in one day!!! But it's all debt repayment, so in the right direction!

I have remembered that I need to photocopy some forms, so thats going to be 50p spent. I've got a big jar of 5p coins that I shall use (they fit nicely into a Jack Daniels bottle).

I'm a big fat zero! Working from home all day and refusing to go out between clients.
