Closing MINT cc

I've telephoned to close my account, was advised to simply cut the card and job done. Should I write and ask for confirmation?

I also cancelled my Mint recently and they said they would write to me and asked me to cut the card up too. I don't think you need to have written confirmation, maybe just ring them up in a few weeks and ask if it has been closed down.

If you get no more statements (and haven't moved house - I have been caught in that trap before!) then assume it is closed.
    I'm married now! Yippee!
