training company gone into administration

HI all... I'm desperate for some advice. I booked a training course for September through my company and I agreed to pay the company back over a period of months. The course is a couple of grand. I've now tried to log on to the training company site and they've gone into administration. I know the invoice has been paid.
Will my company be able to reclaim the money as the service has not yet been provided? Will I still be required to pay the money back?
Also, my company agreed to give me the week off work paid (and not have to take leave) if the course is cancelled and I still have to pay back the money, do you think they should still give me the week off?
Looking forward to your advice. Hope this is all coherant, newbie here!

It may depend on several factors. First, do you know how the bill was paid? Cash, credit card, cheque etc?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I think it will depend on the wording of what you signed.
I can see good arguments from both sides for who is responsible for the loss.
And no, you can't get a paid week off, because they said they'd give you that whilst you were on the training course - no training course equals no week off!0 -
If the training company has genuinely got into administration then your company becomes a creditor and needs to contact the administrator. What or whether your company will receive anything back will depend on the training company's assets. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Thanks for all that. It seems as though we paid the money some 8 days after they had gone into receivership, so I'm really hoping that this means we'll get the money back and I won't have to live on rations for nothing. I'll post the outcome, in case anyone is intersted.0
