Hello all! I'm wondering if anyone knows of free software that I can download to convert PL files into MP3s? I have bought some novels on Audible and now need to know how to be able to listen to them! Thanks, Mel

You need to install the audible downloader app. the .pl files aren't the audiobook, they're the files that tell the downloader app what files to download.
THEN you'll have to bypass the DRM to convert the .aa files into .mp3. Audible uses DRM so if your mp3 player doesn't play .aa files, you'll have to bypass the DRM. There are a few ways to do this, and a google will help. Can't help you here because it's against the rules of the forum. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
I would argue that ways of removing DRM are not against board rules. The simple way would be to burn those DRM protected files into an audio CD. Then importing the audio disk back again although this does use up a lot of CDs... Any better ways?0
