Best Place for Driving Lessons?
Options
I live in Manchester but I want to know if anyone knows best driving school to go to.
HOWEVER I'm sure someone mentioned a year ago there is a place in Blackpool that does intensive one week courses for not super expensive courses, does anyone know of anywhere like this?
If I could save £200 for the sake of £30 worth of train tickets, yes please, or obviously as I said, the best driving school around ^__^.
Thanks Mutch

I don't know of anywhere in Manchester but my advice would be "word of mouth" is best when looking for a driving school. So I would ask around people you know. HTH.0

I agree with billieboy, word of mouth is best. My mother is a driving instructor and gets most of her pupils from previous ones recommending her. It helps to hear an impartial opinion of the instructor so you can see if they're your kind of person.
Personally i would warn against the intensive courses. They teach you to pass the test, not to drive safely. A bit like cramming for a chemistry exam.. who can remember it all a few months on?0 -
Hopefully my partner will :P.
Reason we need this intensive course she is a Student Nurse and is heavily on placement but has 6 weeks free thank god and want to get her driving hours done there and then as her usual day has been -- get up at 6:30am get ready, leave at 7:00am get to hospital at 9:00am work her twelve hours shift until 9:00pm get home at 10:30-11:00pm.
Some days she finishes early but we can't always be certain when.
((Also that why she needs to learn to drive :P))0 -
