Freesat box Which one?

Hi all,

Looking for a hd freesat box, which one would you recommend?

Seen this one on argos here

but the reviews don't seem that good

The Humax boxes usually come out top or thereabouts in reviews. Unfortunately the Foxsat HD box is almost double the price of Bush box.

I use a Foxsat HD PVR for my main TV and it is excellent but I bought 2 £30 Bush Freesat SD boxes from Argos for bedrooms and they work OK.

What you do need to avoid are boxes sold as HD or SD satellite boxes which are not Freesat branded as you don't get the program guide with them and it makes using them very inconvenient. An acceptable alternative is Freesat from Sky which I think has a slightly different program lineup.
