  • A friend gave me some valerian tea today, to help me sleep, so I'm having that later

It was me :) It might be easier for you to do it all in the short term, but in the long term it'll be loads easier for you to get them to help - start with a quick 10min Challenge and see how much you all get done :T

A friend of mine isn't going to Glastonbury this year, as he usually does. He has the week off at home, though, so we're all imagining him not washing, using wet wipes only, eating from tins, not shaving, wearing wellies at all times, and rolling in mud in the garden, just to give himself an authentic vibe :rotfl:

Hope the tea worked. DH swear by it.

I know you are right about the housework. I made them tidy some stuff that gets dumped on the cabinet in the hall and made them put it away instead of throwing it in through their bedroom doors.

Had a rubbish morning. Had a huge row with DS and DH joined in and everyone ended up in tears. DS has gone to school upset and thinking we don't want him any more. I feel terrible and so does DH but the school won't let me speak to him:(

Hope everyone is ok and has a lovely day.

I'm just knitting, I want to get this lello cardy finished today so I can stitch several together and get them all washed along with the cot bedding at the weekend.. once I have bought the flat sheets.. I have my eye on the table in the back room today.. I will find a flat surface.. Then naughty me has my eye on ripping up the carpet.. but I will probably not.. it means moving the bookcase and it is heavy. I want to fill a binbag for charity shop though.. did I not have a list for today somewhere?

Holly.. glad all is well after you scare!

I liked your thing about make a difference in each room Mudbath, I think that is what I need to try and do rather than get bogged down in detail.

    Hi,

    In my HHC i

Wrapped 3 books ready to be posted
    Made beds
Collected laundry but there's not enough for a load
    Sorted recycling
    Got my bag ready
    Put dry dishes away
    Washed up
    S & S Kitchen

I'm off for lunch with my Sisters now. Then when i get back i'm going to get the boys to help me. I wouldn't worry too much but tommorrow morning the woman is coming back to do the survey she was too late for the other day, and there's someone coming on Friday too. As long as the downstairs get a going over and the toy corner gets sorted i don't really care.
