    Evening all
Not got as far as I'd liked today (the heat slowed me down) but tomorrow is another day.

Thanks to your idea of ironing to the budget I did the same so got loads more done than I perhaps would have otherwise :T

Been incredibly (and still is) warm here today. W has gone to bed in just his pants!

I have been trapsing round after Miss A most of the evening so far after decluttering £46 to the dentist for a repair job on my tooth

From there it was swimming lessons, then straight to drop Miss A at cubs so she could complete her athlete badge, which she duly has tonight :D

Going to get some juice now and chill a bit amongst all the ironing which still needs to be put away, guess what my job is tomorrow!

Grrr at Cornhill's opening toots, that is very bad form, I hope someone complains.

Toots - why will you have to leave Cornhill? I remember Boddy telling a similar tale of an event where she volunteers and they did not get invited either, so wrong.
Dusty you get 'invited' to attend the day centre until they think you are stable/over your treatment/ whatever the reason was that you went and then you are discharged - i am now the longest there - John that left today is permanently in a wheelchair and has to be fed so if they cant find a reason to let him keep going I dont think there is much hope for me.
The nurse charge who retired at Christmas didnt shove anybody out - but the new staff are part funded by the Health Board as is the centre so we dont just take cancer patients we take anybody with a chronic or terminal illness - they seem to be allowing 12 weeks per patient.
LadyL take care honey and have a brilliant time xxx
AnW'sMum congratulations to Miss A on her athletics badge - hope the toot is sorted now - and maybe someone will complain when she finds a minute;)

    garden done

I know this is controversial but maybe "something happened" to the eleven year while she was out playing. If you catch my drift, but on the other hand it could be that her parent were totally negilent in their parental responsibilities who knows. I hope to gawd it isn't my first thought, if it was then she has has done exceptionally well coping with the trauma and a baby.

Well i decuttered some more stuff, need to finish the paperwork tonight ready for recycling tomorrow.

Have fun at glasto LL, you lucky lucky thing! Here's my spoons just for you (((hugs))))

Toots , shocking that they didn't tell you about the opening.

Oh and the five year old smoking i see that all the time where ib used to live, its so depressing :(

Well i have applied for two more jobs today with the NHS, also will be picking up an application form tomorrow from Stockton for a care assistant. Fingers crossed my initial phone interview went well, told OH, he was not happy in the slightest, as its for a night care assistant. Told him well if we can work around it i'm taking it as i need a job, just means we won't see other very much:(.

Just waiting for the loaf to come out then i'll be off to bed with OH. Been out in the sun all day cleaning drains so now i just want to sleep.

Goodluck on the job hunting have you tried looking at home care company's they are always looking for carers for day time work that way you might get to spend the evenings together at least and it's not much different to being a care assistant;)

hugs sweetie, been there, done that and it is so silly and upsetting and unnecessary.

I've done really well with sorting my desk. Still got a pile of stuff to action/research but at least all the recyling is out of the pile!

Going to do 10 minutes now and then continue with the family room tomorrow.
