in Techie Stuff
ive a nvidia ethnet card on my motherboard (Biostar N4SLI-A9)and every few days it loses connection with my router (reboot pc fixes it ), clicking on repaire in the property do's not do any thing , nothing in the logs too,and the nvidia firewall is not installed ,only got bullguard firewall on the pc and the router has it's own (cable belkin),
the drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled too no joy ,
cpu AMD 4200X2
ram corair 2x512 sticks
os windows xp pro legeit and up to date .
the Lease Time on the router is two days and been runing about 18 month upto now no faults until i replace my motherboard and ive changed the battery for the board .
has any one got any idea's why it loses connection every few days

Does an ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew have any effect? Is it the 2 day lease?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

it has no effect on it , mite be the lease put it can run for more than two daythere or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0
